I swear to god, Jaime's progression has re-motivated me to learn backflips to dirt!! Like 15 years ago, I landed a few into a foam pit but never took it beyond that... this year is the year that I go for it again. So rad!

JAMIE is the MAN!! Congratulations I love seeing your progression. It's hard to get over fear our brains tell us not to do things but if you trust in yourself and you trust in Matt and people like him who have done it a thousand times you too will be a legend. I say this from an age of looking back in my youth and Jamie you have an opportunity that very few people have so I would take full advantage of it. Matt is your friend your confident and your MTB slope style instructor. There are many people who would love to be in your position. Now I'm not chastising you I'm just saying trust Matt that he is teaching you the appropriate way always with the thought that your safety is number one and then go for it. Now if Matt says something like okay we're going to go do Hardline Wales and jump the gap, That's a different story. Matt you're a great friend and a good person and an excellent entertainer. Keep up the good work just be yourself. Peace

Yeahhh it really is a good line for people to get into slope style jumps! Designed cleverly that with Jamie's first run, you have places to make up ground and just keep goin if you're following somebody and keep confidence!

This is just perfect the whole dynamic between them I like that a lot. I was shouting after Jamie got the flip down as if i was there. So strange I don't even know this man and yet I could see myself in his shoes getting roped into something by my sister's husband. Initially being hesitant and then coming to terms with it. I hate being roped into something only up to a point then its a bop.

Jamie's progress makes for interesting viewing. If Matt is looking for something similar, I recommend looking to make your landings buttery smooth, like those BMXers who land without making any noise, even though they have no suspension. It would be a fun challenge. Maybe Ben could measure your landings with a decibel meter (for a laugh).
