Quite an interesting adventure exploring an unseen world! BTW, you and/or Matt might want to consider one day going to the Yucatan in southern Mexico to go spelunking in their cenotes (underground caves with rivers,etc.). The Mayans considered the cenotes the literal gateway to the underworld and one can find many artifacts and even a few skeletons they left down there from centuries ago in some places great distances from the nearest known entrances before oxygen tanks or even flashlights had been invented.
