Would have made sense to replace the homing pigeon because Solar Panel only gives you ability cooldown on *weapon* crits, not ability crits.

I don't think so, at one point all my damage was coming from turrets, so the extra crit helps, also it pairs with slingshot and crab. For higher crit chance and damage. I don't think there's many better items in that situation. I could get more weapon crit...but again, my turrets were carrying the game at that point.

Not much longer (at least for the public beta) But yes, the new update is substantial, and will add much needed variety to the game.

I think your chemical nades only had so much damage because of the chemical tags and synergy

That's my goal in this type of games. To be kill all enemies without even get close to me.

Probably would've been good to go Plasma Burster on the Engineer and take the Tank with the Rocket Launcher for max damage on-hit crits. The Laser Pointer does damage over time so it's initial hit is quite low damage, and that only damages the zombies for a small crit when they are at max health. Ideally you want slow, hard-hitting attacks for the max damage crits. Just a thought. Might improve the build. Whatever weapons and abilities hit for a ton of damage up front would be good (Infernax?). Also those taunt exploders of the Pyro and the Huntress would draw the zombies in at full health and then explode on all of them for mega damage crits. Hmmmm... new build idea? 🤔😁

There's def ways to optimize this build. Overall though, it's an ability build, and not a weapon build. Infernax wouldnt have done anything after the 25 min mark. As all the damage was coming from the turrets. Maybe once things starts to get sketchy, or on harder difficulties it might be more worth while to have harder hitting weapons. Either way, I'd be shocked if these items stay as they are when this hits public. This build is way to broken.

Eh, you wouldn't want slow, high damage weapons here specifically because you're trying to get as many crits as possible to fuel the cooldown reduction of your abilities. So you actively want super fast firing weapons for more crits.

They'll change it? Why? Vampire Survivors still has "wild build combos" on almost EVERY other Bullet Heaven. These take focus and work to accomplish. All that needs changing is ensueing every class collection has access to equally wild builds, and that items support a wider range.

The problem with this is, it's WAY to easy to get, and it will make every other item in the game worthless. This combo is 100x better than anything else. As a gamer, I love how broken this is...but it works with every class combo, and basically ruins build variety. As a dev, I can see why they would want to change it. It's horribly unbalanced, way overpowered, and VERY easy to get. You only need 3 items and some rerolls.

they nerfin that solar panel asap lol. its gonna have a cooldown for sure. or get removed, i wish they would let this beta go public a while before doing that tho lol. you read the choco box wrong it goes by max HP not additional max hp. still would have only been like 6% each tho

I think it's pretty much been confirmed Solar Panel will be nerfed in the Discord. What they'll change, I'm not sure yet.

Well remember the turret build when this game came out? If you get max cooldown, it's pretty similar to this. Obviously this is much worst. But cooldown is so low that you constantly putting turrets and the turret can crit and will keep the numbers down.

Ya, getting CD reduction was broke too, but they eventually capped that. That also took a long time to get, cause you had to be max level, and take CD reduction for all the level ups. What makes this worst is you only need 3 items, which is really easy to get by 15 mins or so.
