I finally understand. Big volume on the top/bottom half of the bid/offer with little to no follow through shows that the passive traders won't let price go any further which shows that they are absorbing the aggressive traders

He's talking with a benefit of hindsight, he can tell you any old malarkey he wants because he'll always come out 100% right. But if he was trading live in a real time, in front of everybody, all this ambiguous setups would blow up his account.
