Abstract Acrylic Painting Demo With Spray Paint And Catalyst Wedge (nr 89)

A very rainy day, but I don't notice it at all.
i'm in the best place, my painter corner outdoors.
if you follow my Instagram account then you may have seen my abstract acrylic paintings with a foggy expression, I love painting these mixes of acrylic paint and spray paint.
the biggest thing i made with this technique is 170 x 90 cm , nice size 😃
I hope one day to get a video with one of the very large paintings.
I would love that.
right now you have to settle for a smaller painting which I hope you will enjoy anyway.
I use Amsterdam Acrylic, white spraypaint and a catalyst wedge.

This is just gorgeous! I love the use of the spray paint to unify the other layers. Can you please tell me what type of canvas you are using? I really like the linear weave of it. All other canvases I have seen are a basket weave. Thanks

I saw some people preferred using soft body or gouache paints. Those are really expensive! Glad to know I can use regular acrylic with a little water!

no, the paint is directly from the tube but I spray water on canvas, that's what makes them fluid Glad you like it, thank you

Hej Randi Tusind mange tak 🙏💙 Jeg har aldrig prøvet foto papir, så jeg kan ikke rigtig komme op med et godt forslag. Jeg bruger syntetisk papir, NARA papir og yupo til ink, det har altid fungeret rigtig godt for mig. Der er rigtig mange forhandlere i DK hvor du kan få papir til ink, kig på cbart.dk Kunstnerfarver.dk Krealaden.dk Og mange mange flere 👍

I could not find Kirkland photo paper here in Canada so I used glossy photo paper from staples. You want the back to be kind of plastic. Also try craft plastic opaque or the clear and spray paint the back with white or black. Just a thought
