Thanks for watching and your interest in my work. My videos are a glimpse into my process and not meant to be a tutorial. It is a side project for me. I take lots of breaks. I do work wet on wet and let the layers dry before going on to the next one.

Fabulous! I thought it was perfect at every step of the way and I would have been proud to produce something similar. But you carry on way past what I would have been satisfied with myself much sooner. But I see the wonderful depth and textures you achieve with your many layers and contrasting colours and tones until your completed work is so beautiful. Did you add a gesso/something to trxture in hardboard? My takeaway from this - just keep going until you like it! I can get stuck in the mindset of getting it "right" the first time, but if i dont - just paint over it! Thanks so much, its a very beautiful piece

Thanks for watching. My theory is that it just paint and canvas, if you don't like it paint over it. I have a concept and palette in mind when I start but that changes often.
