A good #30 brush with a nylon bristle works nice, its soft yet has a firmness to hold up against the canvas resistance.Try a few different ones and you will quickly see what works for you.Enjoy your painting!

I just love to paint and create no matter what it is.Some of my best abstracts arrive right after painting a few landscapes or a still life. The discipline of one pushes me towards the other and back. Makes me dizzy sometimes.

Pictand cu doua maini e ca si cum ai canta la pian ... Deci ca si cum ai colora muzica sau ai adauga sunete armonioase picturilor tale minunate ! E realmente o incantare ! Salutari din Romania !

I will try to translate my comment to english. There are 1000 of moments when I would like to say: stop to paint, the artwork is ready now. But the process continues from one second to the next second. It developes more and more and gets more interesting. At some specific moment the artist feels something and says: "Stop, i am ready, the artwork is finished". And I look at the result and I am so astonished about it. And I ask to myself how the artist feels that his work is finished yet.

u know it's serious when you see Mike using another canvas as his palette. Great work mike, I just got my very first set of 24x36 canvas! I've got some Matte Medium and will attempt the "endless color variations" tonight! I have one quick question and I'm hoping you can answer this. What brushes would you recommend in your experience? I've only got a few chip brushes from the 99 store and a few Royal's that came with a start set. Any recommendations for brushes/types? badger hair? All synthetic?

Really nice , but this music brain washed me and I got an inside feeling like im having a broken tire every 6 seconds. Constant repetition of that sound overtook the important in my case. Somebody even wrote that LOVED the music , but I really whats there to love in 19min repetition of 6 bass notes ? Well , I guess about tastes we shouldn't discuss, so that's only my personal opinion i felt like sharing.
