Thank you Ray, I thoroughly enjoyed watching you do that! And for a beginner like myself it was truly fascinating and inspiring. I love using the masking tape to frame the painting - tried it for the first time myself earlier today - it just makes the whole thing pop! - and also how you used it within the painting as well. Can't wait to try that. I haven't checked out your links yet but wondered what the pen was you used near the end? The final effect was awesome and reminded me of some kind of fantastical sci-fi landscape!

I saw in another of his videos that he is using a Prismacolor Marker. So I ordered one from Staples. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't comment on its use. I think it has two ends and one is pointed. It looks as if he uses the pointed end. Wish me luck when my marker arrives!
