abstract picture with simple tool, puller, technique, spatula, beginner, easy

Here I show you how to create an abstract image with simple tools. I mostly use the puller you probably cleaned your windows with. I think he calls himself water extractor, window cleaner. I'm not sure, but you can see it in the video.
This technique is also suitable for beginners. You can see in the video how I work it out. You can do it the same way or completely different. Use your shadows. If you take your shadows, it will be easier for you from the start.
Technology:
The tool (puller) has a side made of rubber. This allows me to drag or drag the color across the screen. Depending on that, different structures and patterns arise. You can see how you can let the color flow wet into wet. You can let a surface dry and then rework it. Take a look at it and make it something special;)
How did I get to the picture?
My motivation is more of a philosophy. I have taken this picture because in my classes, in the studio, I always see how the participants do not dare to trust the field and the techniques. Sometimes they do not dare, they are inhibited. They have learned not to do something and to believe in it.
And in our society we are losing more and more. Soon we will not move anymore, we will drive electric scooters, although we have healthy legs. I can not turn on the light as our app is spinning. We should buy and consume many things and many people do not question that. Believe that something special is consumption. The special thing is the expensive tool with which you can do such beautiful things. No, that is not so. At best, you can attribute the expensive tool to failure. I want you to get creative. I want you to be more confident. I want you to wake up and start doing what's important to you. Which gives you a sense. And maybe painting is just a beginning to push your limits and try something new to put you in another state. Sorry, it is very personal.

Here in the States they call the window cleaner a ..Squeegee. I think it is ... Fensterabzieher in german. We love long words, don't we. LOL I always enjoy watching you work, With these type of abstracts it's essential to know when to wait and when to stop. On the other hand playing with color to find out what works or not so much, is a big part of the fun. Great result for you on this piece Petra. : )
