this reminds me of the exact moment my dog left this world in my arms and drifted away, the light leaving her eyes as I froze in time and everything stopped for me, my husband had died two years earlier in my arms also and the pain of losing my two best friends all became utterly unbearable in that moment, i couldnt move, breathe or reason, i wanted to drift away with them, just leave also.
