Hope you get back to feeling 100% soon. Your abstract shamrock water marble is beautiful. I did four leaf clovers in 2 shades of green on all my nails for St Patrick's Day. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

This is soooo pretty!! You are amazing with WM'g. I'm still practicing. I goofed today luckily it wasn't going on my nails. I'm trying to see which polishes will spread. Unfortunately today they kept drying really fast....urgh!!!

Amazing water marble!! Just a quick idea.. Like WM march, nail art april..how about dedicating one month to do only stamping nail art? Would be very inspiring to watch you do stamping!
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+Anupama M I have considered it, but I've never really done many stamping tutorials. I have a few, and I did get some new plates not long ago, so I may do some more if people are interested, but I don't know about a whole month - theme months are a lot of pressure sometimes!

Just. WOW! The design you drew in the water is amazing!! How do you come up with the ideas for those patterns. Happy accidents when experimenting or do you see it in your head? There is an interrupt for me between my head and my hand when it comes to drawing lines or creating patterns.. :( I thoroughly enjoy watching you create your art!!

+Nails Nails Nails a little of both - often what I see in my head ends up different in the cup, but may lead to another idea

Very pretty.OK how do you get old polish to spread? I've water marbled before.But lately It just will not spread.I've used bottled water & tap water.&I've used new & old (but just months old)polish?I don't know what to do?Sorry this is so long.Your work is very beautiful.You make it look soon easy.Thanks
@zabdyypale8768 жыл бұрын
In my experience the thicker polish does not spread as easily as the thin ones. Usually older polish does not spread for mee. But youu cann grab an orange stick andd spread thee first drop of polish yourself and the rest shld spread on its own?:)
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+April Bennett if it gets too thick, I'll use a bit of polish thinner, but it's really the same as with new polish, just a lot of testing & trial & error.

What do you do with the bubbles? I saw them when you pulled up, but when you put on the seche vite they where gone. Oh, and I love the colours!
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+mammacatta I press them flat once the polish is mostly dry, before applying top coat - otherwise when you top coat they can pop & leave little holes in the design
@nancyh28938 жыл бұрын
+My Simple Little Pleasures thank you for the tip about the bubbles. Do you ever find that Sechevite runs or smears your design? I really globbed it on and it's smeared all my hardwork. Any thoughts?
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+Nancy H generally no - but I try to have a very light touch, don't let the brush actually touch the nail, just kind of use it to guide the polish
@juliestitt68898 жыл бұрын
How do you do so much to that water marble before it dries? I've tried every polish,every hack,every temp of water....uhg!
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+Julie Stitt every color is different - these were very slow to dry and so pretty easy to work with
@Anew10088 жыл бұрын
its ok the green is kind of light
@msnita78ify8 жыл бұрын
Hi +My Simple Little Pleasures can u tell me if marbling will work if I only have either plain tap water or bottles purified water bcuz I don't have a water filter pump on my faucet but Id still like to be able to do the marbling.
@medape8 жыл бұрын
Hi +Lenita Nelson. I usually use room temperature bottled still mineral water if the tap water available isn't working. The reason why the tap water isn' t always a success is that in some countries/areas they add certain beneficial chemicals that might interfere with the spreading of the nail polish.
@MSLP8 жыл бұрын
+Lenita Nelson I agree with +Mette Pedersen - bottled over tap, if you don't have filtered. some places even tap is OK, it just depends on your local water
@msnita78ify8 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks ladies + Mette Pedersen n My Simple Little Pleasures
@msnita78ify8 жыл бұрын
Oh wow how'd u do that on paper first?
@medape8 жыл бұрын
+Lenita Nelson Just dip the paper in the water instead of your nails. I usually use a white plastic spoon for testing, though.
@msnita78ify8 жыл бұрын
Oh ok cool
