My mother tongue is Oxomiya, and I offer my unconditional apology to the Bodo community, in fact to all the indigenous societies of NE. I am indebted to all of you that my sensibilities do not reveal around certain regressive ideas, because of the indigenous values of NE, I believe I have natural sensibilities about many creative and progressive values, for instance gender equality. I am trying to get indigenized completely, and trying to delink myself from all the regressive values, the regressive values that were possibly brought to NE by my ancestors, and the ones planted in my brain during my childhood. I am trying to learn Bodo currently, it is hard because I also need to be honest towards what I am paid to do, but I am trying. I hope one day I will be able to speak many indigenous languages of NE. Again, I am no body but I am sorry, it is an unconditional apology from my side.
