I have been following Front 242 since the '80's. Best electronic band ever! They set the stage for every EBM hard-core group since. Great stage show, best musical concepts, best and most interesting lyrics...but who cares about lyrics when the beats are the focus. No tricky or distracting stage shows: just the band and their music!!! Front 242 has always been the fore-runners of EBM music since their inception: the best of the best.

Totally Agree. I love them since 1990 and saw them more than 40 times since then. Another Band i prefer for their Shows is Skinny Puppy, even the distracting Stageperformance is main part of the concept.

Fan since 1984. I once met Patrick Codenys very shortly near place st Gery, Brussels. Told this story to my dad and I wanted him to show something. Then found out that 40 years Front 242 in AB still had to take place. Thought I missed it but Covid delayed it. Booked tickets for my wife and me. What a great concert!

I remember going to a Front 242 gig without any real introduction to the electronic scene and being absolutely gobsmacked by the energy of this old band! Completely blew me away when they flipped a packed venue upside down through sheer energy. It truly was a privilege to see them play. The crowd participation here is absolutely a testament to how timeless their sound is. But then it's hardly surprising since learning their history after the fact.

It's crazy to think their last new studio album came out almost 20 years ago. I have been a huge Front 242 fan and saw loads of live concerts. They lost me somewhere down the line by performing the same songs over and over again. But I'm very happy to hear 3 new songs! I strongly hope for a new studio release to show the electronic music scene how it's done. It's amazing to see these guys active & kicking ass after all these years, and to notice they made some new renditions of their classic songs. On retrouve beaucoup de tracks de ces groupes dans des sets électroniques de nos jours ( par exemple Ellen Alien ). Mes parents ont aussi fait une drôle de tête quand j’ai ramené le 33tours de KRAFTWERK - Die Menshmachine de mon premier échange scolaire avec l’Allemagne!! Tout comme ils ont halluciné quand je leur ai dit que je voulais apprendre le morse après l’avoir entendu sur RADIOACTIVITY… ( ce que j’ai d’ailleurs fait en passant ma licence RA ) …..

I've been a massive fan of this band for over thirty years, but Glasgow last Friday was the first time I've ever seen them in the flesh. Thankfully I'd also got tickets for last night in Islington too. Not only that, but I shared the same carriage on the train out of Glasgow with some members of the band, and support crew. Il y a de ça plus de 35 ans, j'écoutais déjà Front 242, avec d'autres groupes underground, industriel de l'époque ( a;grumh, neon, Virgin prunes, New order anciennement joy division et j'en passe......) A l'époque, beaucoup de gens jugeaient front de groupe nazi de part leur habillement ( tenues para militaire) et surtout cette musique électronique très à l'avance pour l'époque. Suite à l'avènement de la house, les amoureux de cette vague ont commencé à s'intéresser aux racines de ces sons électro venu d'ailleurs et nous, Belges, pouvons être fiers d'avoir un des pionniers mondial de ce style avec d'autres groupes comme Kraftwerk. Tant de souvenirs, je suis carolo, à l'époque il y avait un lieu incontournable où nous pouvions écouter et "danser" sur cette Vibe New wave, underground et c'était à l'aéroport de Gosselies, il y avait aussi des concerts à l'Athénée de Jumet si je me souviens bien. Longue vie à Front. Richard 23, J3. Je vous conseille agrumh, album no way out, drama in the Subway

Saw them in the 1990s in México City at a venue that lost control of the crowd in the gates. Epic Riot. Beer bottles bombing down and shit. The concert still happened went with all my gang, front sounded awesome, the PA system some of the best sounding bass and kick drum thumping on our chest. Great memory. Long live 242

These guys are so badass... I saw them live in the late 90s at a small club where I could be right up in the front and they were unforgettable. The energy at their shows is unlike anything else - it doesn't necessarily come across in video but when you're there it's just incredible. I love that they're still carrying on! BTW look up the Red Bull Music Academy interview with them, it's good.
