Hey how light of lures are you using? I am using a 4600 C4 on a 7ft medium ugly stick but light lures give me problems. I use the reel for everything.

@@sandman771 I was usingn1/16 inch spinners today no problem with a swivel.. make sure gears are lubricated and clean!

Mulla on 6500CS ProRocket, ja olen yrittänyt opetella sillä heittämään, mutta tähän mennessä tulos on ollut siimasotkua. Vaikka osaankin englantia tyydyttävästi, videon olisi hyvä olla suomeksi. Pitää kai etsiä jostain myös kirjallisia ohjeita. Heittelen aina haspelilla, mutta olis kiva tämäkin osata!

Moikka! Joo ihan hyvät ohjeet perushyrrällä heittoon, koska se vaan on todella vaikeaa ja vaatii harjoittelua. Aloittelijalla tulee vain helvetinmoisia siimasotkuja, josta johtuen siimaa palaa ja hyrrä jää vetokastukseen! Itse harjoittelin lajin salat talvella Rocket-hyrrällä lumisella pellolla.

Joo. hyrräkela on vaan hieno heitellä. itse en oikein avokelasta edes pidä. Se vaativuus on se juttu siinä. pelkällä kitkajarrulla oleva hyrräkela on vähän huonompi heittämiseen. sellainen magneetti jarrulla oleva antaa vähän anteeksi ja voi saada pitempiä heittoja ja voi käyttää löysempää kitkajarrua . vois tehdä joskus suomenkielisen videon jossa runoilisi enemmän. itseä vähän yllätti että tein tän videon ihan vasurilla ja silti sitä on katsottu paljon.

@@bsdgffishtuna5186 The point is he does know how to. It saves more time to cast and not have to switch the rod over to your left hand and reel in with your right. Guess you don't understand the point being made here. Anyone can cast with the reel on the right/left side same concept.

I just bought the 5500s which is very similar could you please make a video on how to set it up? I have 250yds of 30lb braid on it but it's not overspooled. When casting I would not get any further than maybe 15 ft max from the shore. I don't know how to set it up. Please help.

I have a few 6500 and 7000 C3's and can throw bait/lures a ways out. The reel I am really impressed with is my 6500i TSR, that reel is phenomenal imo.

the bait clicker and the cast brake are two different parts of the reel and the design of spool tension is actually friction placed on the end of the shaft using the same principal as the drag - not tension, although it does create tension so it can be called anything - but cast control knob is the best. IF you use the bait clicker as a cast brake I feel very bad for your reel and your casting distences. All that does is burn the clicker and give horrible cast. He is wrong though, as those reels have a centrifigul 2 (maybe 4) pin brake not a magnetic cast control you find on reels like the abu gracia c3 rocket. This centrifigul brake is where there are pins that branch outward from one side of the spool with plastic bumpers that slide on them and as the spool speed increases and the centrifigul forces push them outward the bumpers make contact with a fixed cylinder wall of the reel body and that slows the spool back down. Most new reels including the new c3 have 6 pins and you can click them down to change it from 6 down to 0 although 6 with a loose cast setting is my favorite for tossing 2- 6oz weights with big baits. Thats why magnetic is on more expensive reels because to adjust the brake it does not require taking the reel apart- it has another external knob on the left side just like the cast control knob. hope this clears up the whole you being a dick and not knowing what your talking about thing.

joo, olen miettinyt tehdä uuden videon, kun tuon tein ihan hetken mielijohteesta, En muistanut edes miksi tuon tyyppistä kelaa sanotaan, ja muutenkin kuvattu vasemmalla kädellä kännykällä.Pitäisi olla kypäräkamera lippalakissa, että saisi kummatkin kädet käyttöön. Oli vähän yllätys, että yleensä tuota on katsottu noinkin paljon.

Kyllä minä selvän tästä sain, ei tämä huono kuitenkaan ollut. Ajattelin vain että jos me untuvikot (niinkuin minä esim en ole ikinäkoskaan heittänyt hyrräkelalla) katsotaan näitä videoita, niin voisi olla hyvä että termistö olisi suomeksi tai sitten viimeisen päälle hiottu englanniksi. Jep, GoPro ensi kerralla lipan noukkaan, niin pääset tekemään heittoja myös :)
