This period started in mekka in 1344 . One asked the prophet Muhammad PBUH: how long the rajaa of your ummah . The prophet Muhammad PBUH didn't answer his question until three times . The third time he said 100 years Narrated in Mustadrak ala al-Sahihain

Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "(I saw in a dream that) while I was standing at a well and drawing water therefrom, suddenly Abu Bakr and `Umar came to me. Abu Bakr took the bucket and drew one or two buckets (full of water), but there was weakness in his pulling, but Allah forgave him. Then Ibn Al- Khattab took the bucket from Abu Bakr's hand and the bucket turned into a very large one in his hand. I have never seen any strong man among the people doing such a hard job as `Umar did, till (the people drank to their satisfaction) and water their camels to their fill and they sat near the water."

I feel like as a Muslim, it's easier for me to relate to Abu Bakr (ra) or rather to look up to him and take him as a role model than the prophet peace be upon him. Because I get so ashamed or you can say embarrassed ( Imagine THE AUDACITY) when I tell myself that I aspire to be like the prophet peace be upon him since he is may peace be upon him the only perfect human being ever. I'm not saying it's easy (in fact I shouldn't use the word easy at all) to look up to Abu Bakr (ra) it's just more relatable, especially considering things like what to think of and how to love the prophet of Allah peace be upon him and so on. I'm aware I've definitely used so many words I shouldn't use when talking about such great people, I'm just trying (with my poor English) to convey the feeling that a person as great as Abu Bakr existing gives me HOPE. Hope in myself and in humanity.
