Abu Bakr's RA succesion is praised by Allah. Allah SWT says: O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion(Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All-sufficient for His creature’s needs, All-Knower”}. (Quran 5:54). This verse was, of course, revealed during the lifetime of the Nabi SAS, and yet it alluded to something that was to occur after the Prophet’s SAS death. Immediately after the Prophet SAS died, many people apostatised, rejecting faith after having believed. Allah SWT had previously warned them that, if they were ever to turn away from their religion, He SWT would {“bring a people whom He will love and they will love him - humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of blamers”}. Those people, it turned out, consisted of Abubakr RA and the members of his army who fought against the apostates. That Allah SWT lavished such praise upon Abubakr AS and those under his command confirms Abubakr AS as the rightful Khaleefah after the Prophet’s death. Allah’s promise in the above mentioned verse came true: Abubakr RA and those under his command fought against the apostates, doing so for the sake of Allah SWT and fearing no human being that stood in their way. Abubakr’s army defeated the apostates, the verse leaves us with a clear message.

The disagreement between Fatima (RA) and Abu Bakr (RA) is well known. But what if Abu Bakr was right with withholding the inheritance from her? Should he disobey and appose the Prophet SAAS and give the inheritance to Fatima RA. Abu Bakr withheld the inheritance from Fatima as well as his own daughter Aisha..

@Muhammed Asghar Dharani That hadith was in reply to Ali ibn Abi Talib RA wanting to marry the daughter of Abu Jahl. Did Ali anger Fatima RA? And therefore angered the Messenger SAAS? And therby angered Allah? Astaghfurallah no Ali was one of the most righteous and was corrected by the Prophet SAAS. The same way Ali obeyed the Prophet in regards to the marriage, the same way Abu Bakr obeyed the Prophet with the inheritance.

I am aware that all the members of TSD have full time jobs and are very busy people, but despite the risk of sounding like an entitled brat, i humbly request two videos from the TSD team. Firstly, can you please make a video which refutes that Sahaba were munafiqun. Abu Kara who comes to speakers corner almost always cites this supposed ambiguity as evidence that Sahaba are evil. His basic premise is that the munafiqun and Sahaba are the same or that there alot of overlap between them. Also, the shias always criticize how loose our definition of Sahabi is, and that it is ridiculous. Can you also please make a video refuting that as well? i think the best way to refute this point would be to simply cite from their own books the definition of who is a Sahabi of their imams as well, and show that their definition of a Sahabi of their imams(someone who met the imams) is the same, or worse than the definition of a Sahabi of the Prophet(pbuh). Also, i would really appreciate it if you can link me some articles that deal with both the topics mentioned earlier. I tried to find them on twelvershia.net but i couldnt. Thu'laba bin Hatib was a companion who didn't pay zakaat during the lifetime of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم and He took no action against him ! Malik bin Nuweira refused to pay to Abu Bakr because he didn't recognised him as the legal caliph and the latter send Khalid bin Walid to kill him !!! When Surat Al Baqarat was revealed, the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم sent Abu Bakr to deliver it to the Meccans, but shortly afterwards sent Imam Ali عليه الصلاة و السلام to take it back from Abu Bakr. The reason was that the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم said : NO BODY DELIVERS AN AYAT EXCEPT ME OR SOMEONE FROM ME !!! The ayat of the cave is not showing the virtue of Abu Bakr, on the contrary it's a reprimand, for the solace was descended on one of the two and solace is for the prophets and believers !!! Did you people know that Abu Bakr used OBSCENE language in front of the Holy Prophet ??? وأبو بكر الصديق خلف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قاعد فقال (قوله امصص بظر اللات) فتح الباري صحيح البخاري - ابن حجر - ج ٥ - الصفحة ٢٤٨ Abu Bakr was sitting behind the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم and he said (His saying, “SUCK THE CLITORS OF AL-LAT" The whole Surat Al Hujurat is reprimanding Abu Bakr & Omar !!! They were raising their voice in the presence of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم and their deeds were SEIZED ! يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا لَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ Abu Bakr does not know the meaning of 'abba' in Surat Abasa ! According to Sunnite historical sources, in the last moments of Abu Bakr’s life, ‘Abd al-Rahman told him: “…you have always been righteous and a reformer, [so] do not be upset for anything in this world.” And Abu Bakr answered, “Yes, I am not upset for anything in this world, except three things I have done and I wish I had not done them and three things I have not done and I wish I had done them and three things I wish I had asked the Prophet (s). But what I wish I had not done, first is that I wish I had not invaded the house of Fatima (a) even if they closed it to me for war, second is that I wish I had not burned Fuja’a Sullami and instead I either had killed or released him. The third is that I wish on the Day of Saqifa, I had left the caliphate on either of these two men ‘Umar or Abu ‘Ubayda that one of them would become the caliph and I would become his minister. But the three things I did not do and wish I had: the first is that when Ash’as ibn Qays was brought to me in captivity, I wish I had struck his neck, because I suspect he will enforce evil wherever he finds it; and the other one is that I wish when I sent Khalid Bin Waleed to the battle of the apostates I had remained at Zil Qissah so that I could help the army if they were defeated; and the third one, I wish that when I delegated Khalid to Sham I had sent Omar to Iraq so that I had opened my two hands in the cause of God. Then he opened his hands and added: I wish I had asked the Prophet of God (peace be upon him) that to whom the caliphate belonged, so that nobody would go to war on it; and I wish I had asked him did Ansar have any right in this matter; and I wish I had asked him if the the brother’s daughter and the father’s sister would inherit anything [from the deceased], because I’m not sure about it. Sahih Muslim clearly states Prophet (pbuh) said he was leaving behind Noble Quran and Ahlul Bayt (family). Ali (as) announced as leader of Muslims at Ghadir Khum but Sunni brothers have another interpretation. The division started at the death of the Prophet. Shia’s follows the Hadith from Sahih Muslim which indicates the Prophet saying he was leaving behind two weighty things ie Noble Quran and Ahlul Bayt but again Sunnis have their own interpretation though it’s in their own book (see full Hadith and reference below) The speaker should please preach the “facts” to his masses. Reference from Noble Quran confirming purity of Ahlul Bayt: “......... Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification”. (33:33) Who is the Ahlul Bayt? See Hadith from Sahih Muslim below: Hadith: Sahih Muslim, Book 31, Hadith 5920 Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and 'Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him: Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family. He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes. Based on above (Noble Quran 33:33 and Sahih Muslim Book 31, Hadith 5920) Shias consider Ali (as) as leader after Holy Prophet (pbuh). There are 12 Imams as confirmed in Sunni sources. 🤔 What about Zubair ibn al-Awwam, the prophet's cousin? Just because he was a general in the Rashidun army doesn't mean you pull him out of Ahl Al Bayt. What about the numerous other members of the Prophet's extended family named Kadhab (liars) by the Shia because they picked a side against Ali? Are these not kith and kin? If in the shia view this hadith attaches importance to the members of the prophet's family then it does so equally. Why do you mix and match? In the Sunni view, this hadith is giving charge to the people to take responsibility of his family (Thaqalyn lexically translates to responsibility or burden). It does not give them leadership roles. Sunnis revere the Ahl Bayt equally. 😊

PLEASE YOU WERE SO CLOSE The verse you shows (5:54) is as you said foretelling the leadership of one after the prophet whom allah is dear to, who is humble to the muslims, stern to infidels and fights in the way of allah. THE VERY NEXT AYAH TELLS YOU WHO THAT IS 5:55 "Your only guardians (wali) are Allah, His Messenger, and those who establish prayer and pay alms-tax while boing (ruku)."

@@noorassunnah6851 assalamualaikum I've already read that article thank u. However even if we were to accept that explanation what happened to the concept of awrah and modesty? Not only was she inspected she was also kissed. From my research I've learnt that only the owner of the slave-girl can touch her. Shouldn't there be a restriction? This hadith gives the impression that there is no awrah for the slave-girl in front of any man before and after being bought. If she can be touched, inspected and kissed before being bought who's to say that others beside the master can't touch her after being bought. If there was no restriction before buying her how can it make sense that there is after buying her? It's like saying you can let someone touch and inspect your daughter without him marrying her first and foremost. Only after marriage that it is restricted to one man for her to be touched. Does that make sense? Of course this is nonsensical and sinful. We're not allowed to touch any woman that is non-mahram except when one marries her. No one else who didn't get to marry her is allowed to touch her after that. The same can be said about the slave-girl. You're not allowed to touch her unless you own her. There are hadiths that condemn adultery perpetrated by and towards slaves so that means there's a restriction i.e only the master can have relations with her right? Doesn't that mean there is awrah between her and others besides her master. But how can there is no restriction or awrah before buying her? (refer back to the daughter example)

Because what I heard is that he was a Muslim and Abu Bakr (ra) ordered khalid bin walid to confront him and the latter killed him and married his wife on the same night and despite the consensus of the umma including umar ibn khattab (ra) to punish khalid, Abu bakr(ra) forgave him saying he did ijtehad. Another question is that if Ash'ath bin Qays was an apostate then why did Abu bakr(ra) forgive him later and gave his sister in marriage to him?

Why? Because corrupt women are for corrupt men. 🤷‍♂️ That's one example. Trust me, there are loads.
