Abu Garcia gen-5 Revo X review

Today I reviewed my new Abu Garcia REVO-X 5th gen. This reel cast a country mile. And I’m pretty sure the frame is carbon and not graphite. Went out on a trip and caught 3 fish. Reel performed amazing.

I've been comparing 3 Abu reels, the Jordan Lee ($109.95), the Revo X ($119.95), and the Zata ($189.95). The specs are: Jordan Lee, graphite frame, graphite side plates, carbon handle, the Revo X, carbon frame, carbon sideplates, aluminum handle. The Zata, graphite frame and sideplates, no mention of handle material. Someone said that graphite was 95% carbon and carbon was 99% carbon and that carbon was better than graphite, but it seems odd that the prices don't reflect that. So far, I haven't heard anybody have anything good to say about the Zata, which is weird because it is the most expensive by far.

How big is it like 200 medium size or smaller becuse I have A rod for 50-100g and I wonder if the feel would be good?

Graphite and carbon are the same matetials btw lol. Generally when its mentioned as carbon its a more refined carbon based material. Graphite is lower grade of the same materials.

I just bought a 4th gen super cheap...i think ots just a revo...not an X. I assume the X is higher in the lineup

The revo x is the base model for the revo line. The revo4 x run 99$ and has been on sales all the way down to 65$ lately as they are discontinued and the revox gen5 like he is reviewing is now the production base model at 119$.
