Join us this Ramadhan 2014 at Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Putrajaya, Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya, Malaysia with the esteemed Mufti Ismail Menk for a 30 minutes tazkirah everyday after taraweeh and get to know the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu'alayhi Wa Sallam.
May Allah SWT bless us all - accept our duas, forgive our sins, multiply our hasanat, grant us good health & happiness & ultimately Jannah.

Thank you for sharing such a a delightful knowledge Ya Mufti. I have been mutually arguing with my shia friends for 9 years. In 2014 when in was 23yrs i had downloaded Sahih Al Bukhari, Muslim, Twabari and Tirmidhi. In 2017 i completed reading 2 volumes of Bukhari and that was enough to shut them up by only using 2 volumes of Bukhari.

Abu huraira spend only 4 year with prophet and narreted 5374 hadees. And prophet daughter Fatima a.s narreted only 23 hadees , first khalifa abu bakar r.a who spend 23 year and narrete only 142 hadees ???

Abu Hurairah spent his whole life learning and narrating Hadith whereas Ali didn’t. Where other Sahabah would go out and seek their worldly life, Abu hurairah was known for sitting close to the Prophet ﷺ in the Masjid and he used to listen carefully and memorise whatever the Prophet ﷺ said. He didn’t miss a single sayings he heard from the Prophet.

Abu Huraira (RA) was a Sahabi like all others, he was very knowlegeable of Sunnah and therefor narrated most of hadits, like Ibn massoud (RA) was most knowledgeable of the Quaran and that's that, no one is superior to no one.

This man weather know little about abu hurrairah or concealing the facts Allah knows.Actual fact is abu hurrairah came from Yemen and embraced Islam very late after battle of trench.He was in company of Muhammad saws for only 16 or 18 months his memory was very weak despite this weakness and least time with Muhammad saws , 80 % of hadiths are narrated by Him . This is a controversial issues. According to some scholars it is said that Ayesha r.a.complained to Umar bin Khattab r.a.that abu hurrairah narrating too much hadiths so take care of him.At some occasion Umar r.a.met abu hurrairah and punched him in chest and asked him to stop narrating, else I will send you from where you came (Yemen).From that day he stopped narrating hadiths and started again after the shahadat of Umar r.a.Allah knows best which is true.

People of Hadit hater make comment like this. Don't listen to them whereas most Islamic great scholars are agreed upon these Hadit and make dua for Abu Huraira (RA) , for him we have such gold pieces of Hadit with us right ow.

Khalid Ibn lwalid embraced Islam very late, that didnt make him a bad muslim, Umar did ask Abu huraira to pause narating hadith for sometime but was for other reasons than what you are trying to infer. Umar assigned Abu Huraira as a Wali and isolated him too, for good reasons too. don't mix things. Big schoolars of Sunnah (Anas, Ibna Hanbal and so on) use his references. Quran states "Obey Allah and his messenger..." Allah words are in Quran and Messenger words are in Sunnah. You can choose to discredit Sunnah, the fact is you are contradicting the Quran itself and good luck!
