The Last Thing To Say & Do Before Sleep | Abu Bakr Zoud

These actions will put you to sleep and ease your anxiety.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَأَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، رَغْبَةً وَّرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَ ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِيْ أَرْسَلْتَ.
Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja’tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbataw-wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja’a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi kitābika-l-ladhī anzalt, wa bi Nabiyyika-lladhī arsalt.
O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, I entrust my affair unto You, I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You - in hope and fear of You. Indeed, there is no refuge or safe haven from You except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When you intend to go to sleep, then say [the above]. And if you die, you will die upon the fiṭrah (primordial nature).” (Bukhārī 6313)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Before you go to bed, perform wuḍū' as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side. Then say [the above - *with a slight difference in the wording*]. And if you die that night, you will die upon the fiṭrah (primordial nature). And make it the last thing you say...” (Bukhārī 247)

Before Sleep - Make Outhzo Before Sleep. Lie on your Right Side According to the Sunnah. Read the Following Thikr as Last things you Say Alllahumma aslamtu nafsee ilayk, Oh Allah i Submit myself to You. Wa fawwadhtu amree ilayk I Entrust You to All my Affairs Wa wajjatu wajhee ilayk I Turn My Face to You Wa alja'tu djahree ilayk I have committed My Back to You ( I Rely/ depend on You Alone ) Raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, Hope and I submiited to You and I hope in you and Fearing You Laa malja' wa laa manja minka 'il laa ilayk Verily there is no Refuge / safe haven Except for With You ( Run As Fast As you can Towards Allah, As he can Only save Us ). Aamantu bikitaabikal lathee ' anzalta wa binabiyyikal lathee ' arsalt. I believe in your Book you have sent down and in Your Prophet You have Sent.
