Interesting and entertaining stuff. I actually bought BBC games back in the day (about twenty of them as I recall), among which Acornsoft Chess and Frak (both on tape I think), but not Zalaga and Firetrack. Piracy was just a school yard away at the time ...

Pretty sure the Electron version of Frak on the PIAS 4 compilation had the Pugwash theme. Specifically the tape version.

Zalaga and Arcadians are great shooters on the BBC Micro, we loved Frak! although I think there was one legitimate purchase of a tape copy, then it got onto disc... I can't remember when I first saw the hacked version, but it always makes me laugh when Trogg falls off the ledge to the key on the first level and the message "You've f**ked it!" appears along with the little tune🤣 The Acorn Electron was the most disappointing computer after the TI-99/4a - I agree, Acorn cut too many corners off it, hopefully a new ULA will right a lot of those short-sighted cuts.
