Umm Habeebah bint Abi Sufyaan reported from Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allaah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) entered upon her in an agitated state and said, “Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, woe to the Arabs from an evil that has approached! Today a hole like this has been opened in the barrier of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj,” and he made a circle with his thumb and forefinger. Zaynab bint Jahsh said: “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, will we be destroyed even though there are righteous people among us?’ He said, ‘Yes, if evil becomes overwhelming.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 3097).

My brothers in Islam salvation lies in sticking to Qur'an and sunnah according to how the sahabas understood it from the prophet peace be upon him. And the prophet peace be upon him emphasized this by saying that even if Musa peace be upon him was in this ummah it would jave been obligatory for him to follow what the prophet and his sahabas were upon. The prophet peace be upon him told us of people differentiating after him and he commanded us with: "Upon you is to stick with my sunnah and sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs. The salafi's gave naseeha to the muslim community as it is obligatory upon them after seeing that yasir qadhi and those with him are far from the methodology of the pious predecessors thus warning against them. And ALLAH تعالى has made their misguidance upon their tounges and all praise belongs to ALLAH ALLAH تعالى says: (transltn) Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, and you should have known them by their marks, but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all your deeds. And surely, We shall try you till We test those who strive hard (for the Cause of Allah) and the patient ones, and We shall test your facts (i.e. the one who is a liar, and the one who is truthful). (47:30-31

Sheikh Abu Ibraheem thank you for the lecture. I never understood why Muslims would take knowledge from the Church. Yale, Harvard etc. were all churches. How can we learn Islam from Jews and Christians? They are a people who deny the prophet SAW. I am from Senegal and we have 2% to 5% Christians. I have never seen a Christian learn his religion from a Muslim. Then why are Muslims going to Christian universities like Oxford to learn the Deen? It does not make sense.

I also listened to his lecture on Yajuj and Majuj. He poses as confident man but then raises doubts to himself and the listener. I've listened to other lectures of his where he points out his doubts in many areas on something that even I who has basic knowledge can understand. This to me shows a confused many. The religion of Islam is clear without doubts. If you were to piece together his doubts and how he presents them, you get the feeling that he has an agenda to get people/muslims to follow his beliefs or to fall into his doubts which in turn may cause their iman to weaken, and Allah knows best what's in his heart. After listening to a couple of his doubt, this is it for me, I don't take Islamic knwlege from Yasir Qadhi. He seems confused, and while he think he is intelligent and an intellectual who may know it all, he could be as well misleading a number of muslims.

The sheikh's journey of unearthing the superior between divinely revealed text and intellect at the prestigious Yale University has done a great harm to his faith and creed. He could not boldly takes side between the argument of Sheikh Fakhruddeen Ar-Razi and Sheikhul Islam Ibn taymiyyah around this topic. He has fit in and fully integrated into the world league of philosophers thereby taking science and logic as the most plausible interpetation of the religion. Yale has consumed one of us, I pray Allah will rectify his thought soonest.

Why do you have to go so far? Going by this thought process how do you even believe in the day of judgement and the resurrection? How's that any less? The whole point of our faith is that we believe in the ghaib( the unseen) . We are a people who say "we hear and we believe" let's not be apologetic. The position you described is the position of the Messenger, his companions, those who followed them up until this modern day. To change this understanding is incorrect and even hypocrisy.

SCIENCE doesn't have to affirm anything because science is the knowledge which given in the Qur'an. OUR Lord is not validated by Man's inquiries. Man is illustrated and validated in the Qur'an. Therefore science is given by Allah and anything and everything else which science details is given by Allah. So believers SHOULD cling to the Quran and Sunnah and not fall prey with their enemy.
