Nigeria has both positive and negative aspects of it, just like Ghana and other countries. People like you expect perfection from Nigeria based on your stereotypical perception of it. I don't care if your grandmother is from Calabar. That's more reason you should respect Nigeria. I don't disrespect my grandmother's people.

I don’t care what haters say about Nigeria, all I know is that Nigeria has a great potential and is the most beautiful nation in Africa. Take it or leave it, when you even consider the fact that this giant of Africa has a population of over 200 million most hard working, diverse and creative people in Africa then you’ll get the idea. Nigeria is the best kept secret of Africa. Check her out in the next 10 years from North to South and East to West. I rest my case.

The thing with Abuja , which no other city in Nigeria has( and I hope this mindset is maintained forever) is that they were intentional with their constructions. Which means when they build, they build solidly! This gives stability and longevity to the infrastructure ! In many other of our cities, it is a lacklustre, half-for-do mediocre approach! Today, Lagos is smashing people's big homes of 10/15 years standing , saying they are in the wrong places! Jumbled up !

Abuja is beautiful no doubt but I am not impressed lol. I have visited several occasions and upon traveling abroad realised its mediocre. Try visiting cities in North Africa or even Johannesburg or Kingali. Luxury doesn't translate to beauty or swag. Kudos David for your immense effort 👌

How can you compare Kigali to Abuja. Did you hit your head on the ground? Yes, South Africa is developed and well planned and thank goodness it wasn't planned by the people selling ESKOM. Again, North Africa is Arab and has existed way before Nigeria as a whole. How old is Abuja again? Please don't ever compare Kigali and Abuja.

Your observation is a reflection of your neo colonial mentality. Abuja is only 40 years old, and it's stunning already. Sit this one out.

@afrikanheritage99 Have u checked other African capital within the same time frame of Independence? You are intellectually lazy and not sincere. Compare Abuja with Nairobi, which looks modern, go and sit down

For those who think Abuja doesn't have buildings, I want to remind you that, due to the city's planning, buildings are hidden from the major roads, except you go into the streets. KZbin videos of Abuja are pathetic. I can't imagine a city with roads and trees, without buildings. Abuja is the administrative capital of Nigeria. It is a purpose built city. The city doesn't have a developed financial service sector like Lagos or Nairobi. That's why the Abuja central business district is just about 30% built up. The Abuja master plan was taken from Islamabad, Brazilia, Milton Keynes (England) and suburban America.
