I love all of Abul's stuff but this one makes me come back to it all the time. The way the individual sounds additively stack on top of each other, like little grains of sand over the course of a lifetime, gives this track an almost narrative quality. Like a picture that only begins to take form once you watch it from far away. Like a story that only makes sense right at the very end, when all the pieces finally add up. What a fantastic record. Beautiful, powerful and violent, like the sea crashing against the largest cliffs, rendering them the smallest pebbles after millennia and millennia.

Perfection in simplicity. The final part makes me always like " an electric storm is rising to cover us in beautiful darkness"

The story of Abul Mogard's life, but also of ours, of those forgotten and those who were never meant to be. Music for the heart.
