I tried this and when I went to remove the masking fluid it took paper with it. I was using multifarious card stock. Is this why that happened? Or could the fluid have been too thick. Sad now after all that work.

Sorry to hear that. The card and the type of masking fluid are important. Also how much you put on and how gently you remove it etc. I have not had that happen. I have had some bleeding of paints and inks occasionally but not removal of the card surface. Also was the fluid completely dry before you worked over the top of it? I hope you won’t be put off and will try again even with a smaller project to test your materials. 🙏🤔😞

@@inkyblisscreations I used “frisk” artists blue mask from Lavinia. I will practice some more. It’s possible it was too thick or maybe the ink underneath was not dry enough. Thank you.
