Well we was booked into the Hilton which an this day all chargers was down. So I did try the book and park at the NEC and was to.d all weekend it was not available. So as a fully electric car we dared the trip back to watford and we made it on limp mode. Thanks Hilton for advertising you have working stations and thanks for NEC quick book for not working.

great video as always, but what I would say about the HillSide Birchover - whilst they aren't 'exciting' in some senses, the build quality is just so good, the only place I've found that compares is Jerba!

I am in 2 minds about campers. The cool factor of the Vw t6 or the way more comfortable motor home? If I was really into it I’d get a motor home but they are pricey.

Bonus of a camper is the fact it is a car and a camper van. So is less pricey in that respect compared to a Motorhome.

So you're new van that you are making yourselves you mentioned it's van weight 3.5 kg is the finished weight?

It’s only rated to 3.5t at the moment but you can increase that to 3.88t but obviously Lizzy doesn’t currently have the licence for that.

What was it the wise old motorhome salesman said as I waved goodbye and bounced towards the showroom door ...convinced I was soon to shell out 65K and find true happiness at last... "The two best days with a campervan are the day you buy it....and the day you sell it"... Thankfully, I dodged both and stuck with my plain white van and plastic storages boxes, roof rack, £70 loo and YETI Tundra 65 litres cool box...

From coast to coast it's 3500 miles. Electric Vehicles just aren't up to the distance needed for long distance travel in the USA. Charging infrastructure and charging times make it impractical currently.

Most of these camper vans waste a lot of room by putting extra chairs. It would be better to use that space to install a washer dryer machine and closet with drawers. Most of these Vans are used by one person. Not 4 people in a van. I would not allow other people in my van. That is how I lost $1000 by allowing other people in van . Better to travel alone.

I first thought the dishwasher was pointless BUT it uses a10th of the water normal washing would use. Also, the van is not on a lift kit…it is a very capable 4x4 and comes from Mercedes with this ride height.

@@ABusAndBeyond my wife and I now own 2 EV’s and couldn’t go back. I wanted to buy a Motorhome last year but after seeing the van tech coming out I decided to wait. I drive a Merc Sprinter XL minibus for a Charity and we are swapping over our 3 buses to full battery electricity at their next scheduled replacements. Makes not just good economics but morally as well
