This must have been that sub 50 degree weather day outside. Love that fridge and the drawer under the passenger side seat in the rear.

Excellent video as always. But does that RV have translucent glass for its bathroom at 4:23 ??

I looked at this unit but it's lacking a couple of major items. First, the inverter is only 1000W. This means you need to run your generator if you want to heat up something in the microwave. Second, there is no storage whatsoever under the rear bench. There are several vans with this same layout that have a lot of storage under the bed/bench.

One concerning thing is the lack of a skid plate protecting the generator.

It seems many Class Bs nowadays have the generator down there, which is not only hard to get to/service but also it wouldn't take much of an obstacle on the road (debris) to take it out. On top of that, although the Ford Transit chassis DOES offer AWD -- as this one is (the RAM ProMaster does not, IIRC) -- Ford doesn't give AWD models any extra height (lift) so it's as low to the ground as a non-AWD version is -- doesn't make sense. However, MB with their Sprinter "4x4" chassis DOES add some lift so you get some extra height/ground-clearance there. IMO then, Ford should LIFT its AWD models and that would not only help with the generator just inches (!) above the pavement, but would also help if you take it off road (mild off-roading only, nothing serious). Right now I'd be concerned taking it off-road AT ALL due to the too low ground-clearance (generator mainly). Best would be offering a Transit chassis with more height AND their FX4 package as well -- meaning true 4x4 (vs AWD) -- which would then seriously compete with the Sprinter 4x4 Class Bs (like the Winnebago Revel). After all, Ford DOES know how to make 4x4 vehicles but apparently still (I suggested this YEARS ago) lacks vision/interest applying it in the Class B RV market, even though people are wanting to go off-pavement/boon-docking more nowadays than they used to. Not to mention driving/camping in inclement weather -- like snow -- so AWD would be a minimum requirement. But you'd still need decent ground clearance to get the most out of it (especially so for 4x4) unless you'll FOR SURE be on-pavement only and mostly doing fair-weather camping trips. -- BR
