void is deffo really good and something I love if I'm playing into a physical laner and am getting magical D later in the build, but playing into a vulcan who's building no defense felt like a waste of the % pen in this specific game.

I agree as a fellow Cthulhu main, I always prefer to build void or oni’s over genji’s. Obviously the passive isn’t always in full effect but it’s still damage mitigation constantly, and the CC reduction can really help with certain jungle match ups also or just your solo lane match up. I just don’t think genji’s passive makes it worth building all of the time, and If you do you need to sell it shortly afterwards when team fights start up. But that’s of course just my opinion.

Me i just build sigil, Valor, prophetic, midguard, and amulet of stronghold. Tons of tankiness to go with my ult, and extra padding from midguard* and old guard to further reduce incoming damage from basically all sources.

Absolutely love Cthulhu. Every item he can get is busted and it works well on him rn, you name it. Glad, binding, curseweaver, Soul reaver (his Sever procing items is busted and I’m here for it YOLO), etheral, tablet and next patch… oh hohohohoh… that old glad shield and nemean is gonna be wonderful.

I noticed when you dove the Vulcan under tower around 14:50 his wave instantly died when you used your ult. Is that supposed to happen?

cthulhu ult does a burst of damage when he transforms. I think they died from the burst.
