i am not muslim yet but i know i will take my shahada inshallah. i live in a small town in new zealand that doesnt have a mosque. so im currently searching for a place to take my shahada online. ive been drug and masturbation free for a month now and its all to the teachings of islam; the3muslims, ali dawah, mufti menk. all i do now is listen to these men speak. i cant even begin to describe how ive changed. even just the thought of going back to my old ways, causes this feeling of uneasiness. the 180 transformation that has already happened in my life, Alhamdulillah! thank you brothers

Alhamdulillah I’ve had the honour to meet the sheikh Abu Taymiyyah, let me tell you the most down to earth brother you could possibly meet, we was taking a break from our lecture to pray dhur and was walking to the masjid, I was walking near him and he approached me, gave me salaams, walked with me and put his arm around me and walked and spoke with me as if I had known him for years. May Allah bless him.

The title sheikh is not an officially ordained or earned title, it’s just a title used to refer to people of knowledge. It can also be used as a term of endearment for your elders, which he also is in my case.

Alhumdulillah brothers this was the best podcast yet with the SQ podcast being my 2nd favorite. When AT quoted the greatest of cures is D’ua, I cried because I know from my own life that Allah swt listens to a truthful heart. A month of Truthfully doing Salat from the bottom of my heart changed my life more than 4 years of being involved in the self improvement and nofap communities. inshaAllah i will never look back. Such a great session alhamdulillah About working out. It is important to preserve the body & brain our responsibility upon us by Allah SWT . Doing something physical will increase HGH, human growth hormones. Work out at home is very possible. It helps reduces bad appetite and will lead insha Allah our brain to wanting to consume toyyib food. Working out main reason should be about taking care of what's given to us by Allah SWT to the best of our abilities. Main factors to preserve health & fix what's wrong - sleep ; most importantly circadian rhythm. Prophet Muhammad PBUH, had once said, if there's nothing important to do after Isha salah, sleep. Wake up early for ibadah then study, work, exercise etc. You don't maintain this, whatever you eat, supplements you take, exercise you do, the impact will be a lot less or not work much depending on current physical state of body. - eat toyyib food & follow sunnah - fast. Prophet SAW was always found among the poor. He didn't eat much or possibly eat once a day on the days he didn't do sunnah fasting ( mondays , Thursdays etc) There's a researcher called Valter Longo who studied about fasting. He created "mimicking fasting" idea that is eating little enough ( complete set of nutrients) that the body is in like a fasting state. That reminded me of one of the sunnah of Prophet SAW. Brother Faiyad of 3muslims here is doing something to help muslim brothers & sisters on this matter alhamdulillah. Do hear/check him out.

I have health issues due to my own mistakes. Since then I've been trying to fix my health and alhamdulillah I'm a lot better than before. I found many great channels and learned a lot. Dr berg, ekberg, hyman to name a few. Watching and learning from them has always reminded of the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH and wishing muslims would be able to provide this kind of help as well i.e. incorporating sunnah to cater to people with ailments and not just promoting it without consideration of specific ailments. Eg. Diabetics can have dates due to high sugar content and it's fructose. I wish someone could study the sunnah and do channels like dr berg, ekberg, hyman .

I want to say that astagfourAllah must be ‘intentional’ to actually have an impact on the heart. A person must have genuine regret and pure desire to improve when seeking Allah to purify their hearts from their sins by doing istigfar. 10x intentional istighfar (quality ones with a present heart) is def better than mindless x100 istighfars.
