This message is so profound, my sister passed away this March 2022 from cancer. She was a wealthy woman and lived in a beautiful house with very beautiful and luxurious furnishings but I can never forger the night she died she was taken to the morque. It was cold and bare minimum. It really shook me that what was the weath and finer things in life for. We are taken to cold storage and then buried in deep dark place. Don't strive for things you will leave behind.

It is recommended to fast nine days of Dhul-Hijjah Fasting nine days of Dhul-Hijjah is mustahabb (recommended). This is indicated by the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), as narrated in the hadeeth of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days - i.e., ten days of Dhul-Hijjah).” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself with his wealth and does not come back with anything (i.e., he expends all his wealth and is martyred).” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 969)

It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685] Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
