I have an ME degree. Ive been a machinist for most of my adult life, and a knife collector and sharpener for almost my entire life... I still learn things about knives and knife making every single day. The massive influx of channels from people who have been collecting knives for 2 years and feel like they already know everything and have zero willingness to learn is probably the worst aspect of the "knife community."

That's a big part of what makes it fun for me. The longer in the hobby I am, the more I look at the little things the designers and makers do. Don't necessarily agree with them all the time 😁
