This song to me represents the Cybermind and what’s happening to it as it looses its memory such as moments where it sounds like alarms. Possibly signifying the memory leak or the roars. Possibly showing how the cybermind is loosing all of its intelligence and becoming a animal or barebones of what it was.

It at first reminds me of the futuristic part of rimworld's soundtrack, however it excludes the partial western theme in the said soundtrack. However as I continued listening, it sounded more like a sort of archotech theme. Anyways, It'd make for good dark futuristic ambience, and is a good track!

Hi, you've asked a good question and I'll try to be concise in answering it. Firstly, thank you for the compliments, I'm glad you like it. This song was commissioned by youtuber Blameitonjorge for a video about lost video games. I tried to capture the feeling of loss and foreboding which translated to incorporating spooky sounds, whispers, white noise, and glitches. However, I also wanted to tie everything together into a more traditional song format, so I added the consistent bass kick as rhythm and framing. I wanted to fill the track out because sound effects alone feel thin, so I alternated between the delayed synth sounds and the digital computer arpeggios. However, it still felt lacking, so I ended up adding dubstep-influence bass wobble. Eventually the song just morphed into this kinda chaotic arrangement of layers and phrases. I've always enjoyed dark music so I did my best to emulate what I imagined a lost video game to sound like while keeping it to my client's specifications.
