from awake, epiphany, tonight, moon and recently abyss all have deep meanings in Jin's life as if he was from time to time sending a message to himself, the members, his family and most especially to armys that his life as an idol is both a reward and pressure on his part as we know that he's been so hard on himself since their debut . Jin is a perfectionist too like the other members and probably that led to being burnt out. Abyss became one of his outlets in expressing how he feels.

Omg, I’m so emotional. What a beautiful song, Jin gave us such a gift and shared something he initially didn’t want to show through his music 😭😭. I hope he can feel proud of himself more because he is so deserving. I also felt so happy that he found a hyung in Bumzu. To us western people his age difference with most of the members is so little it’s nothing, but to him due to korean culture, it might be very difficult to share some insecurities with his dongsaengs. I feel like it must be helpful to have someone older than him in the music industry (but not much older, as say, Bang PD) and who most likely has gone through feeling insecure of his music and himself. I'm not on Twitter, so this was my first notification of his gift to us, so thank you for being so reliable. 2nd) Jin is not my bias...I only say this so you understand that I am cold-bloodedly, analytically objective in my thoughts and opinions on him. *I admire Jin SO much!* He inspires me beyond words. I recognized from very early on that he and JHope were not actually so lighthearted and clownish as they sometimes might appear, and instead had made a very deliberate CHOICE to draw attention and possible mockery to themselves to help their team members. That Jin did this when he himself was so shy and insecure showed how strong he was as a person. It reinforced a concept my grandmother lived by, that you can DECIDE to act as the person you WANT to be, stretching and growing out of your comfort zone to develop attributes that you want to have. Jin's outlook on life about being in the present moment and CHOOSING to be happy is another revelation that I don't necessarily have to be/remain a victim of all my negative feelings. Obviously, he's still a human being, so bad/sad times and feelings still happen and must be dealt with, and here he is, again, showing us that though we may FEEL trapped in these deep, seemingly endless feelings, if we reach out to others letting them know how we are struggling, we see we aren't alone, the darkness being eased by the lights we shine for each other. I am constantly amazed by the life lessons I learn from these young men (I'm nearly 50), & I just wish I could show him how strong he really is. I wish a hug could embody all this and that he could be embraced by all ARMY that want him to feel secure in himself, his worth/value and impact on others. Sorry for the essay, but even though he's not my bias, I am incredibly moved by this young man, and his gift to us on HIS birthday touches my heart and you are among the very few places I can express such and trust that you can understand me perfectly.
