Aussie here, handgun ownership is different in every state here just like in America. The general rule is that you have to have a minimum 122mm barrel and 10rnd mag in order for it to be legal in competition, obtaining a Category H license has a different process in every state but for a general rule you have to have a prohibition license which means you can’t own a handgun for 6 months until you can get your full license, then you have to maintain that license by doing competitions such as IPSC, service pistol and those sort of comps. In Queensland you can put stocks on your pistols and people have managed to register AR-15 pistols on their category H license but that is currently going through the courts. At least we can have pistols, suck it UK.

@NADS IQ Yes I've heard of CZ 100. One of their first polymer guns. Not much info out that I could find when I was looking awhile back. They are inexpensive but there seems to be a lack of parts available should you need them. Obviously no aftermarket parts either. But could make a great addition to collection and part of history for sure.

Well I was pretty close in the guess. I own 1 CZ and it's the SP01 Tactical and have to say, hands down my favorite semi auto. Over my Sig P226, Beretta 92, & 1911. For me it's the most accurate that I shoot. I have changes the main spring and recoil to lighter springs but didn't change firing pin spring. Haven't had any light primer strikes or unfired rounds but really lighten the double action trigger pull. Shot maybe 1000 or so rounds without any problems. Awesome firearm. Why it's one of the most copied handgun in the world. Nice addition to your collection! Enjoy!

That's a great pistol! I had the original black SP 01 Tactical models I featured on the channel and it had one of the best triggers still unmatched to any other DA I've tried. I went too light with my springs and experienced a bunch of light primer strikes until I changed it back to and 11.5# main spring. It really is an amazingly well fit pistol. I'm glad to have it but was so sad to see the others go. CZ's are awesome though.

Are those also a California compliant pistol? Would you preferred the 18 round mags or because these are rare here you decided on it?
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
@@stevenclark7070 The model number is not on the actual roster but the mags are obviously compliant. I was actually not interested in the color itself just the model for its hand match and hand fitting; the fact that the grips are gorgeous is just a perk imo. The mags will be put to use either way.

@@abyss1232 Interesting. Is that a special run of the hand fitted of is it more like S&W Performance Center firearms?
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
@@stevenclark7070 Yes special run. Some went to US, orange with 18 round mags w/matching base plates and 4.7in barrel. Some went to Canada for the Canadian version with the red aluminum grips and maple leaf inlay with 10 round magazines. The Czech version has orange grips, 18 round mags w,/matching baseplates, extended matching shadow 2 style magazine release, and 4.7in barrel. Then there are the Australian versions which you see here. All are hand matched and hand fitted.

The rifling spins the opposite direction on that model, right? 🤣

Dispersion area 26.2, not bad not bad. My CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow got 78 and my TSO 35. This custom slide barrel fit really seems to work out well :)

Shoots way better than I can! Can't blame the gun when I miss anymore though, haha.

Once you get some rounds through it,can you do a review and compare it with your CZ Tactical Sport?
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
Sure. I can do a comparison. My TS is in 40 S&W and this is in 9mm. But that'll be interesting. What are your main questions about the two so I can hopefully come up with some ideas.
@chrisloffredo74186 жыл бұрын
@@abyss1232 Since it will be an apple to oranges comparison it may not be worth it. I was mainly interested in fit, finish accuracy and Trigger pull. Production vs custom. Is the Orange worth the extra 500-600 over the TS.
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
@@chrisloffredo7418 Finish is all the same for CZ pretty much just polycoat. Fit?! The Orange series is by far best fit out of the two. The CZ 75 TS Orange has same process but not the regular CZ 75 TS. Trigger pull is SA only under 2# on the TS models. Shadow obviously DA/SA. DA I've seen anywhere from 12# to under 6#. SA I've seen go from 6 to 2.5#. Really it just depends on what you're going to use the pistol for and budget? That'll determine most of your answers.

And boomerangs! From what i understand only select few are allowed firearm ownership. Legit competitive shooters are one of them.

@@abyss1232 not really. I have watched most of your cz videos but haven't taken the plunge to install parts myself. I've heard horror stories about one of the springs when reinstalling the hammer. I haven't had the time to shoot let alone sit down and tear down one of these suckers.
