Should I be worried about the console errors and are they normal? The mod works but I see console errors popping up everytime the main menu is loaded or when an ocean level has been generated.

Nah, I get errors all the time, but the game is fine. If they're annoying you too much, get the "Don't Open Debug Console On Errors" mod.

Another suggestion, even if this is 9 months late: bind hotkey slot 0 to R instead and put ammo there. Hit R to reload. Convenient if you want easy access to your tools without ammo impeding 1-9

I think he's using barotraumatic with some extra barotraumatic addons or the xanmonster creature Packs mods if anyone is interested. Also I was very surprised about ur Playthrough since I also had the same creature Packs on and even the better dugong like u did. Ur playthrough is very similar to mine, so I had a lot of fun watching this video.

Also I recently found out that you dont need to manually drag the mag into the guns, you can just equip the gun and then press the inventory slot number where the ammo is, and it will do it automatically, and this also works for plasma cutters and welding tools!

How do you go to the Abyss?

The Abyss isn't a specific location, rather the game considers any area below a certain depth (depending on your starting depth) to be the "Abyss". Usually there's several entrances in one map where you can dive deeper.
