Agreed! What a good area. If I had to criticize something about it… it’s probably a bit empty. But I guess this applies to most of the DLC? In any case, thank you for your comment.

As a tip for anyone who wants to kill them: comparatively speaking, the Winter Lanterns are pretty easy (if a bit unintuitive) to parry. At the end of their charge they pull their hand back; L2 right there. You don't even have to be close because their active frames are numerous.

@@FrownyGaming Not only does the riposte damage them, but they lose their invulnerability after the riposte (possibly simply after the parry, I've never tested it). So if you don't 1-shot them, R1 your way to victory.

@@vengerofthelight I REALLY like this. Good design. I only wishes that there was a message hidden somewhere in the woods from a fallen warrior with one of their corpses nearby. Kind of to hint at this.

@@FrownyGaming It appears the Torn Diary Page you get in Midra's Manse is supposed to be a hint about this. A shame it's AFTER you've already gotten past them. -_-

Tip for anyone who doesn't want to fight the annoying lanterns...put Assn Gambit on a dagger and traipse around the place totally undetected.... just remember not to let it time out!
