For the main story, John Patneaude (Kinich) and Katrina Salisbury (Iansan) haven't returned, and surely most of the old cast for the old characters won't return for the new event while the strike is in effect and new arrangements have yet to be made. And most definitely the Traveller VAs. Which is sad because for the AQ, SQ, and Chronicle stories, there are at least 1 or 2 scenes where the Traveller spoke, with more than one sentence of dialogue, I might add.

The same can happen to Xblanque and the fact that he was literally in present day to fight Mavuika even if with a borrowed body screams to me that they have plans for Xblanque as playable for later. Also that character model is not the model of an NPC. It is clearly the character model of a playable character. Yes, there is a difference between them if you did not notice it until now.

Though I think the kid’s got a good chance of being playable since his model is unique and he seems to have some extra strength after Xbalanque left his body. Maybe he’ll earn a pyro vision during a Natlan event in the future but yeah Xbalanque just wanted to witness Natlan after the war and went back to the Night Kingdom with the rest of the fallen warriors, don’t think he’ll come back.

Not gonna lie, after main quest i have many questions about xbalanque. While many descibre him as good and wise leader, the rules he set for natlan seem to be really bad. They confirmed that it was possible to connect restored lay lines to the rest of teyvat but they wouldnt have ode of ressurection. But he decided to not connect them and trapped natlanians in nation constantly being in a war without any means of escape. That explains why natlan is a nation of war even tho we didnt seen them actually striving for war but rather for peace - as this might be done by xbalanque as he was the one that wanted war wirh abyss. So thats why his rules were made in such a way so natlanians will be forced to fight

Judging by his model and how well designed he is, I’m guessing he’s gonna be playable soon. Having the first Pyro Archon playable would be cool, but when he said he was possessing another person I came up with a cool idea of him having 2 personalities when playable. One of Xbalanque and one of the boy he was possessing. Kinda like Seele and Veliona. But hey, this ain’t gonna happen, just something I came up 5 seconds ago lol.
