Banshee Boardwalk, Koopa Troopa Beach, Bowsers Castle, and Moo Moo Farm are the only tracks without skips. There is a TAS only skip on Bowsers Castle, and some funny stuff you can do around the finish line involving item abuse on KTB, but the other two look to be as solid as fort Knox when it comes to potential skips.

welcome to the future! We now have a Koopa Troopa Beach shortcut that works in Grand Prix that’s gives you a 16 second lap! Banshee and Bowser Castle still don’t have anything besides some cpu jumps But a base for a moo moo farm time trial shortcut is in the works! You can clip into a certain part of the outside fence to get placed down, then use the Lakitu effect to go further out of bounds after jumping over the fence (which is possible) sadly it doesn’t count the lap, but we are getting close to a moo moo farm time trial viable shortcut.

The penguin shroom shenanigans were something I demonstrated to some other Mario Karters that I met in person. Unfortunately I only ever managed to skip the cave section in 150cc, where it wouldn’t save time, and I couldn’t determine whether or not it was feasible to do in Time Trials. I never did discover any lap skipping tricks for Sherbet Land though, so major props to those who made it happen. Likewise, I also demonstrated similar shroom shenanigans into the horizontal sliding Thwomps in Bowser Castle to some captive audiences in person, where you can also utilize it to go through walls. The physics are nearly identical. I suspect someday, someone will find a way to make something useful out of it. I no longer have good vision these days, so I’m passing the torch to anyone curious and willing enough to experiment with this info. Good luck!

How did you skip the cave in 150cc? With the same method?

My method was different and more direct. I used the left penguin and used a backward boost toward the other end of the cave. Since my successes were only in 150cc mode, it might be the only mode that gets enough momentum for that particular tactic. Also, given how much further you’d travel around the normal track in 150cc in the same time it takes for Lakitu to bring you back, I determined many years ago that my method wouldn’t be worth the hassle, unless it could somehow work in a lower cc, including Time Trials.

mario kart super circuit is underrated speedrun but mk64 is a amazing thing to watch now and again mad respect to content creators, glitch hunters, routers, and runners alike the teamwork here is astounding man vs game shows in this documentary and speedrun community

You need to massively increase the volume for your own voiceovers to better match the volume of the streamer clips you use. When a streamer does a pop off, it's like 5x louder.
