@@andrewharris1837Brian is 76. It's fucking crazy man. I'm flying down to Munich from Sweden in a week to see both of their shows there. At 25 years old I've never had the opportunity to see them and I figured this might just be my very last chance. At first I was worried if Brian would still be able to perform but all doubt went straight out the window after seeing all these videos. I'm so unbelievably hyped. My childhood heroes dated all the way back to sitting in my dad's backseat on the way to daycare, man. It's crazy.

Nice to hear Brian's voice sounding good again too, I was a little worried after the US festival footage but just a bit of rust thankfully and I'm so pleased his hearing issues have been sorted I can't wait for Wembley now 😀
@fishygill8 ай бұрын
How bad was Power Trip? 😵 Respect to Brian but he can't hold any notes any more and his body forced him to stop in 2016 for good reason...why has put himself this to come back? A couple of one offs but a full tour? I expect he will really struggle to fulfil these commitments and we'll be in 2016 territory...Has Angus got Axl on speed dial?
@ANDREWHALL288 ай бұрын
@@fishygill I think you'll be proven wrong personally And he got an ear infection that burst a sack of fluid in his ear that created crystals that hardened and needed removing with a chisel ( read his book ) , his hearing is back now, and power trip was bad because of 6 years of vocal rust, I think he sounds good in the new footage and his voice will only get stronger from here, he isn't doing opera he's doing rock, as long as he can hold a tune and hear he'll be fine
@fishygill8 ай бұрын
@@ANDREWHALL28 I thought due to his love of cars and having his ears unprotected and near that volume for all those years was cited as the reasons his hearing had gone, not rock N roll funnily enough. They talked for ages about building a device to improve his hearing and that was only way he could return...glad he can take a stage but whatever decide he uses, it can't strengthen his singing. Shame but like everything father time comes for us all. It's amazing that some rockstar make it to their 70s at all. Singing style helps though...look at Jagger, he can still do it as he kept it a certain range...raspy screaming, well ....yikes! It's rare they can still do it and sustain notes....same for Axl sadly...
@ANDREWHALL288 ай бұрын
@@fishygill I'm just reading his book, they were playing in the rain in Canada and it was freezing cold and he caught an infection that created a cist in his ear that ruptured and solidified, he barely finished the tour and was hoping his ears would pop but they didn't, it's a good read but that's why he lost his hearing and his ears got extremely damaged from it Very few singers keep their voices, Tom Jones maybe being the exception 🤷♂️
