They said Malcolm started to lose it this tour and was forgetting riffs. You can see it in his eyes, in the way he plays here, yet his mission to deliver an experience unlike any other persevered. What a God Damned legend. Rest in Peace.

Honestly for me it’s the 4:05 mark. That’s the lead in. That’s the calm before the storm. It’s that point where you can really fathom the build up. The silence. The single “FIRE”. Cannon report. Then the long drawn out “Weeeeee” into the drum build up, followed by Angus loosing his absolute shit. Over 15 seconds they’ve gained about 15bmp and are now into an absolute free for all of nothing but Brian repeating the hook. Angus loosing his shit. Chris crushing the drums and the crowd just trying to stay along for the ride. The greatest 60 seconds in recorded history.

Airbourne do have that heavy rock bluesy ACDC tone about them, joel would of made a perfect replacement for brian not that anyone could step into brians shoes but he'd do a better job than Axl thats for sure. Angus will play that SG till he drops he may live in Australia but he will always have that British grit.......

For this particular concert and the individual videos with the songs, nothing on the internet comes within a million miles close to the energy and persona of this crowd. There is nothing like them interacting with AC DC. For years now I have always returned to these videos and revisited the experience, and imagined what it must have been like to be there. I imagine to this day each time I watch the videos of this concert and that crowd, what it would be like to connect with them in the same capacity that AC DC did. It's inspirational and emotional each time I watch them, there are no words to convey the feeling. Other than I hope that the feeling never goes away, nor do AC DC or the spirit in the people of Argentina.

You're Right. Malcolm Young said this Black Ice tour was their live peak. He said this was their tightest & best playing live in concert. I agree. Malcolm was the captain of the ship & he knows when they were good & not so good & if he says this was their peak as live musicians then he's speaking FACTS

Great crowd but its different than the old days (of course, and love both). I saw them May14, 1988 at the age of 14, downtown Detroit's Cobo Hall (a smaller venue) on the main floor, general admission so we camped out from 12 noon to get front row, and we did.You're right, my ears rang for 3 days, it changed my life (went on to see 60+ concerts). I can see the electronic influence with the bouncing... I bounced in clubs so I like all upbeat music up to and including today's Martin Garrix and the whole Ultra or Tomorrowland festivals. But concerts ROCK like that EVERY TIME in Detroit, just like the name says. I'm Canadian, but only like 2km from the border so we go across all the time.

jimboondawg Got my ticket for AC/DC in Belgium, tried for different cities such as Paris, Koln, Munchen, London, couldn't get any tickets. They announced this week that they were doing a concert in my country, i was so happy. I'm 17 years old now, gonna see them for the first time now, and probably the last time. Been a fan since i was like 8 years. Already did a few festivals ( we got alot of festivals in Belgium, ridiculously much ), gonna do about 6-7 festivals this year, but i still think that this is gonna be the best of this year for me, maybe for my life. Always welcome to expierence the festivals in Belgium !

@Simmo_Cars10 ай бұрын
You can definitely tell this is the period Malcolm started suffering from dementia. Through the whole performance you can see he’s really concentrating and not fully there. However, after the explosion at 4:14 we can see everything gradually coming back to him as he starts to feel the groove and move more and more. Then at 5:05 it all suddenly comes back to him and we can see him moving like he used to the 80s & 90s. I guess you could say the band were “really cookin’” at this show

I really listen to all kinds of hard rock, metal and rock, but I also know the newer bands. But I think this is the best closing song of a band of all time. The slow but powerful start. The message and the reference to the gladiator fights for the people in the roman empire (For those about to die) But then the song shifts up another three gears and ends in an epic riff and cannon ensemble. Goosebumps and tears every time. Especially if you've seen it live a few times.
