All the crown jewel albums from the best bands... Everything from Led Zeppelin 4,Dark side of the moon,all the way up to Appetite for destruction and Nevermind....all those great albums had songs on it you'd skip.Acdc was the only band in history,their first 5 albums you press play and let it ride.No skippers.It was uncanny on their part
@j0hnf_uk3 жыл бұрын
Not to mention all the, 'hits', from the River Plate concert. Which, are great in their own right, however, when reacting to as a first time reaction tends to detract from the original recordings, especially those with Bon Scott as vocalist.
@guitarman84623 жыл бұрын
@@j0hnf_uk all first time reactors to acdc should start with their first album with Bon , then work all the way to Brian's work. Then they can make a choice. Listening to Brian sing songs ( no disrespect to Brian ) just isn't the same. Another 2 albums from Brian that are underrated are " For Those About To Rock " & " Flick Of The Switch " .

That's why I requested it.It's not what you hear all day, everyday.I been requesting it for a long time.I had to dump on Metal Church to get their attention a little bit,but it worked 😁
@Josh-ce6jz3 жыл бұрын
@@pastorofmuppets22 thank you cuz the Bon Era never gets attention from anybody. Usually you'll see reactors do Hells Bells, Back in Black, and Thunderstruck. And when they do the Bon Songs, they do it with Brian on vocals at that stupid river plate concert. I get so mad when that happens. Like doesnt it seem weird you would react to a live version of a song, without the original singer, and the non-original singer is old already. Idk what got people so hooked on that river plate concert, probably the crowd.
@pastorofmuppets223 жыл бұрын
@@Josh-ce6jz it's still the spirit of ACDC, and nostalgia and all that.But it's a pale version of how great they were.Reactors do the same thing with all the bands.Judas Priest is always that turd Painkiller.Sabbath is War Pigs and Iron Man...the stuff on the radio all the time.They do have 13 albums.Rush has 14 multi platinum albums,but it's the same three songs.Often times a band's best work isn't what the public latches on to.The Rain song for example was much better than Stairway to heaven.I'd hate to see great stuff lost to time

(Late AC/DC singer) Bon Scott was a huge fan of Little Richard & 50's rock n' roll music... hence, his vocal style. This 1978 album 'Powerage' was a bit more groove-oriented... less in-your-face hard rock. It sold less as a result, but in America, it was a big seller at the time , purely on word of mouth.

In my opinion if I look at the catalogue after Back In Black I'd struggle to put an album together from the later ac/dc offerings. A couple of songs from For Those about to Rock to were reasonably good , then Thunderstruck and Heatseeker and then....er....um....maybe pack it out with live versions of Bon era songs.
@kevedwards2 жыл бұрын
@@garmit61 I find a lot of the later albums don’t instantly hit but get better with each listen like FTATR I’ve always thought was decent but not a favourite, listened to it a thousand times then one day i REALLY listened and it blew me away, there’s some absolute bangers on there but they’re quite hard to appreciate when you’ve just got them on in the background, I think they need to be played LOUD to really come alive. only albums I really struggle to fully get into are ballbreaker and Stiff upper lip, Maybe FOTW and BUYV as well once I get past the first few songs but it’s not that I don’t like the albums I can listen and enjoy every ACDC album it just really depends what I am in the mood for. I will say though that PWRUP had become an instant classic to me, I absolutely can not get enough of that album some songs on there really do come alive the louder they’re played, No Mans Land being one of them, first listen wasn’t very keen then I had the album in full belt while driving and the grove on that song is phenomenal.

To compare AC/DC, one of the biggest charting bands ever in all of rock n roll, to Metal Church, a legend in the metal scene but not the mainstream rock world, seems dumb of that guy. Of course a bigger band is going to get bigger views. There are pop artists who will easily get more views than AC/DC, wonder if that subscriber thinks that means they are more relevant than AC/DC? Anyway great video from you all! Love both bands, cheers.
