I haven't checked out their recent live work, but Brian sounds great still here. To be on stage at his age and STILL belting it out...that's freaking awesome. I didn't know it till just now, but I looked him up, and Brian was born the same year as my dad. Gonna miss these older bands when they're gone, there's simply no satisfactory replacement for them that I've heard.

Brian has been doing this for 40 years, you have to give the guy respect even though he may not sound identical to how he used to
@Greg_Chase8 ай бұрын
Brian was 34 years old when they hired him in 1981 for "Back In Black." He was born in 1947. He is 77 years old. He will turn 80 in 2027, just 3 years from now. When you have a purpose, a productive work activity to do each day, advancing age means a lot less. He looks and sounds great! Angus is playing quite well - it's cool to seem them touring. I saw them when I was a little kid on their "Highway to Hell" tour in the U.S., in the late 1970s, when Bon Scott will still there. Then saw them a couple other times - on the "Hells Bells" tour while in Phoenix. Great, inspiring band. Really good stuff all around.

@@davidinnis6796 Agreed. My 1st career was playing guitar in rock bands. It's astonishingly challenging, the issue of cohesion of a small group under immense pressure and very little money at least in the beginning. It's a real blessing that they are still adding to their songbook. Almost no bands survive the trials. Beatles, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Derek and the Dominoes, Jethro Tull, etc.

@@champinonpuntocom2986 You know, it's strange because in my family no one likes rock music (or at least they only like some hits like Queen songs). Now I'm studying in a music academy here in Rome as a singer (one of the rarest ones who sing rock from what I've seen), and in these five years I have acquired a lot of knowledge about a lot of music of every genre. I realized how many artists I will never be able to see and how many unknown and absurd artists today don't get the right notoriety from kids like me.
