Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! Tremendous reaction! I saw them in Denmark's second city with Axl Rose, and I have to say that it was.... Not great 😄And I even love both bands from childhood (GNR n AC/DC). But I also saw them back on this same tour as the video at the Danish national stadium in Copenhagen, and it was incredibly magnificent. It remains in my top 5 ever concerts in my 40-year life. The stadium was packed and everybody had such a good time that for the first time ever, the national stadium in the middle of Copenhagen ran out of our national beer and official event sponsor Carlsberg. We dried it out! 😄 So for the last nearly 15 years I haven't had to worry about dying. When I walked out of there at age 26, I knew that I could now die a happy man. You could run me over with an 18-wheeler and a smile on my face.

Someday I hope the world calms down enough that this can happen again. it brings tears to my eyes and this ancient rockers soul that the vast majority of you will never know the energy and power that just possesses you when the music is 150db and the 100k+ audience is just making the concret stadium dance along lol I remember showing up a little late to a show and you could feel the parking lot pulsing to the music. As to how old I was when i first heard AC/DC it was 1979 and my cool uncle put dirty deeds on the hi-fi (slow clap if you get the reference just for surviving lol) and i was hooked like a junkie ever since. i have played their music everyday at least a little for 50 years or so. also If you want to see a truly insanely massive audience, check out Metallica's concert in moscow.

On July 30th, 2003 The Rolling Stones headlined a benefit concert in support of the SARS epidemic which had ripped through Toronto. There were the Stones as headliners, and Toronto's own Rush. The airbase in Torotno was modified and it is estimated that 500,000 people were there that very long hot day. But that concert was mandatory for anyone with just one "rock" gene in their body. In the following days we were not talking about the Stones, even Rush. No, it was AC/DC who absolutely tore the place down.

They cut the opening wrong. In the actual performance, Brian Johnson ends a song, there's a 10 or 15 second delay with him standing in the middle of the stage, and then he suddenly starts sprinting off to the audience's tight, leaps into the air, grabs the bell's rope, and the bell rings exactly when he hits the low point. Much more dramatic than what is shown in this video. The DVD of this performance is worth the price for the extra features about the effort some of the fans made to get there. There were actually two concerts on consecutive nights used to make the DVD.
