Flick of the Switch = Malcolm's finest hour. Loud as hell, perfect timing. Definable AC/DC sound.

Flick of the Switch is one of my favorite albums, period. I never saw them perform any songs from this album live and I regret that. It is an under appreciated album in their catalog.

I never got that chance either. I'd say it's easily their most underappreciated.

Far and away one of my fav AC/DC records. No hits per say, but this record harkens back to what they do best; and that is deliver pure rock. Love Brian’s voice here live. Amazing.

I can totally rock out to this song or I can listen to it at night and it helps me get to sleep. That's kinda amazing I think.

It would be great if this track was part of their nightly set list. It has a rolling thunderous beat, like a bunch of bad ass shit kickers are coming to town to enact revenge for blood unjustly previously spilt.

✔️FLICK & FLY where two under rated albums with so much good material ! ✔️I would of loved to seen them do a B Track Tour aka: lost tracks you never hear live AC/DC made ALBUMS NOT SONGS like today's one hit wonders❗️AC/DC = once in a lifetime ...

Great upload! Thanks. I believe this album is Brian's greatest vocal work and the band's heaviest.

AC DC toured constantly. They did 100s of shows in 1980, 1981, 1982. This is 1983.

Highway to hell/back in black Powerage, Let there be rock, Flick of the switch (As complete albums) And a $#!t load more tracks inbetween. Arguably even more albums. The toughest band to compile for 👍
@keefriff996 жыл бұрын
Chris Slade is an awesome, fast, powerful drummer (at least he was during The Razor's Edge tour...not so much nowadays), but I think, in terms of a simple groove, Simon Wright was a far better fit in terms of replicating Phil Rudd. Slade has the chops, but he plays too stiff. Simon could at least approximate the Phil Rudd swing.
@paulkelso66904 жыл бұрын
Fair call. They're both a better fit than Axel imo. Lol

Now I understand why they never played this song live after 1983: It's really pushing Johnson's upper register. It looks like a real ass to sing. But in my opinion this is a top tier AC/DC riff.
