From Wiki: "Baby, Please Don't Go" is a traditional blues song that was popularized by Delta blues musician Big Joe Williams in 1935. Many cover versions followed, leading to its description as "one of the most played, arranged, and rearranged pieces in blues history."

supposedly Bon did this without the band knowing and they first saw him as they started taping and he went on stage dressed like that. You can tell by Phil Rudd (drummer) and Angus' reaction. they were laughing their asses off. Phil rarely if ever smiles

I saw AC/DC on the Highway to Hell tour in September of 1979 when I was 14. I'm so glad I got to see them with Bon.

The other band members had no idea Bon was going to do it. He disappeared for a few hours and then appeared on stage dressed like that. They were just as surprised as everyone else. He was definitely a character.

Angus is a huge fan of Chuck Berry. Thats where he got his double stops & double stop bends on the 🎸 guitar. Also if you notice , he does that Chuck Berry skip on stage.

Aahh that makes so much sense! How did I not know / see this before!!
@guitarman84626 ай бұрын
@gozaband if you notice many guitarist use the double stops. Chuck Berry was the king of Double Stops. Another thing I wanted to point out is that Hendrix loved Chuck Berry and and did many of his songs live in concert like " Jonny B Good " 🎸. Watch Hendrix live and you'll see . 👍

Countdown was a famous Australian weekly TV show - must watch viewing every Sunday night. - it was mostly pop and mostly aimed at young teenage girls - AC/DC already had a reputation for being "hard', and wild - & this might have been the first time Angus wore a. schoolboy uniform

Actually Mark was the youngest in the band at the time, not Angus. He was born in 1955, Mark in 1956. Mark wasn't there for that long. Only from 1975-1977 until he was replaced by Cliff who remains to this day.

Blues rock and anarchy! The very essence of AC/DC. The Young brothers were the soul of the band; Bon was its heart. When Bon dies, most Aussie fans thought it would be the end of the band. And, of course, it was. Yeah, they went on to scale unimaginable heights, and there was enough of Bon's spirit left over to lift the lads to their greatest achievement, but after Back in Black, they became a different beast - formulaic, quite frankly boring, unable to recapture Bon's anarchic joy, the ingredient that made their first six albums so great.

It's funny that you said looks like he could whip your ass dressed like that. He actually was a hard living bar fighter. He died before his time because he was an alcoholic. The world lost one of the best rock lead singers because of alcohol poisoning.
