Suggesting this is the "best guitar solo" by Frank Zappa is clickbait! It's a typically tasty ballsy-blues-adjacent shred by FZ, granted, but not a solo that's up there with the "best" ones that have been released.

It is a Beatles song! They all had a part in the production. John lyrics/vocal, Georges guitar rifts, Ringo and of course Paul accoutrement.

It amazes me that people don't about Jeff Lynne of ELO but know Tom Petty. Harrison was with Lynne and Petty in the Traveling Wilburys along with Roy Orbison.

This is not a good reaction. I’ve seen this on other KZbin tube channels that show him this on the fingerboard of his guitar. You very little footage when the video is almost finished

Lol the stones were playing bad boys that eventually became bad boys according to Lemmy from Motörhead and the Beatles came from Liverpool where it was much rougher part of England.

Epic. For the ages. I've watched it 100X over the years. Carlos, of course. But Micheal Shrieve, the drummer, was a kid on fire that day. To this day, I eat powdered mushrooms for gut health, and as a. tribute to this performance,

Originally a demo from the late seventies sung and written by John about missing his relationship with Ringo, George and Paul, longing for reconciliation. Yoko found the original cassette recording and gave it to Paul in the 1990s. Fast forward forty years later and the song feels like it Ringo's and Paul's perspective, missing their friends George and John after they've passed on. Its like the End of the Baby Boomers in a song version. Greatest musical generation ever.

The secret to it all? Well, that's the tricky bit, as even David Gilmour himself isn't sure, as he admitted to Rick Beato in a recent interview (transcribed by Ultimate Guitar): "I don't know how that happens. That's not anything deliberate or worked on. It's just my taste as to how you want it to sound and how to bend things. I mean, if I ever hear people doing the solo to 'Comfortably Numb', or something like that, which obviously comes up on Facebook once in a while, there are things that other people just don't have quite perfect - if you're talking about perfection in these matters."

The interview was excellent, and I appreciated that you highlighted the iconic moment at Woodstock. It might be helpful to begin by examining the historical context of the performance with accurate details. I agree that there are many fast guitarists today, but few can capture the same feel and tone as Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck.

Yes they did play Sympathy for the Devil live again many times, saw them at the Glastonbury Festival perform it a few years ago and there was a large steel Phoenix above them on the performance area of the pyramid stage especially made to stretch and breathe fire only when they played Sympathy for the Devil - utterly unforgettable!

Everyone blames Mike Jeffery for the horrible contract Jimi was dumb enough to sign, but Chas Chandler was Jeffery's partner, he brought Jimi from New York to London to launch him, but he didn't protect Jimi from that contract. Chandler had been the bassist for Eric Burdon and the Animals. He knew how brutal the music business and that contract were, yet he always gets credit for launching Jimi but is never held responsible for not protecting him.
