@@DZR2003 nope same issue here check everything,fuse no leaks blower work fan works their is gas minus I have anal suspicious on the clutch bc is soloist to move but not sure if Hyundai compressor clutch don’t have a play bc I also went over to her Hyundai and compressor clutch don’t move as well so I may try this but I’m pretty sure is a electric problem not my forte trying to get better at it but I also read that their is a valve in the compressor that goes bad and cause this but first of all get the gas out of u sister to do a repair of this kind

I have been using my heat in the rare period of time in Arizona when it is cooler but when I tried to go back to using my AC in the afternoons when it heats up my AC isn’t cool, it’s just blowing ambient temperature. Do you think this will fix this?
@ryanscot7445 Жыл бұрын
I realize you may have checked this but this particular vehicle needs to be topped out on 134a. Not sure why but at first I had 30 psi and I still added 10 more and it made a big difference (before realizing it was the thermistor). But too much will cause damage and/or injury so I suggest using a mechanic or someone at least Type 1 certified with the EPA.

I have the same situation, tempature outside is 80-90 it is not blowing cold air. But if 60-70 outside ac releasing cold air

Can i get the part number for that
@piercejohnstevens2038 Жыл бұрын
Will this work for me? There is a delay before the AC blows cold, it blows warm air in the start then after I drive it for about 5-10 mins it starts to blow cold air
@davetravels9273 Жыл бұрын
Mine does the same. Likely the clutch pack on the compressor is bad but you might as well replace the compressor expansion valve and drier filter since one of those will break soon anyways. It’s about $400 in parts if you order online. Then about $500-$800 in labor.
@piercejohnstevens2038 Жыл бұрын
@@davetravels9273 Thanks, what do you mean by clutch pack? My compressor has just been recently replaced and I believe these models are clutchless?

My ac randomly cuts on and off. Do you believe that’s a thermostat problem?

Have the same issue check everything minus this but not sure if the clutch is bad bc other Hyundai clutch don’t move as well so I may try this,did u ever found the culprit
@quietlion33 Жыл бұрын
@@RUDEST99 I noticed it only happened when it's in the ac recirculating mode. I believe mine is a bad control panel switch so I picked up one from junkyard.

It looks like you're above where the pedals are, but under the dash..? I'm not seeing anything to twist off there. My Hyundai Accent is a 2020, so maybe that's the issue?

Disclaimer, I am not a pro nor a mechanic. I will not advise you to add 134-a yourself. So with that in mind, I have found that you have to get the 134-a to the max psi (low side) as possible. My example is that I had measured 30 psi originally... but later learned that was not enough... but then I added more until I reached 35, and it made a BIG difference. It's like the hyundai system is very sensitive like that (unlike other cars or even a refrigerator). In all, get your 134-a psi to the max recommended for your car. There may be a chart that would say something like "35 psi at 70 degrees outside".
