Just gave ur setup ago and damn it suits my driving style soo well! Managed to knock of 2 seconds just in my first attempt! Gotta get used to the amount of oversteer and my skills overall but this massively helped!

you're setup feels like it's breaking the games physics, everytime i slide out the rear, it's like it's zooming. First 2laps on the setup, i already gained a second, i really gotta learn how to setup cars in the game

Great Lap! Was it with TC and ABS? And, which version of Silverstone (author Pyyer, Kunos, other?), there are several, and each is a wee bit different.

The setup is good for qualifying. For the race, you can use a harder compound (so the tires don't melt), and add fuel. Other than that, the setup should be a good baseline :D

I dont usually do non-Kunos tracks, and my priorities are w/ Spa and Monza for the moment. That being said, my plans aren't set in stone, and I might make a vid for Hungaroring :)

It suits my driving style. It's faster than the stock setup, but you gotta be smooth on the inputs - throttle and steering. Channel your inner Carlos Sainz, be a smooth operator :)

btw how long did you practise this circut?

It used to take me hours (like 5-10, sometimes more) per track. I got it down to a point with my new wheel to anything between 2-5.

im really curious about why you choose nose 0 instead of 1, these era of cars are kinda understeery overall, so a bit more front end wouldnt hurt, is the drag that bad?

Yes, the added front downforce is nice. Yes, the cars tend to understeer; and yes, the drag is minimal. I found it better used as a fine adjustment for the front downforce level. Treat it like a 0.5 adjustment for the front wing. Generally I like my cars to be slightly oversteery, and I felt like the extra 0.5 was not necessary in this case.

@@ntst22 i tried your setup on spa, i have no ideea on how you control the car, i get entry oversteer in every corner i brake, and i dont have any issues with my normal pressures and bias, its very twitchy

Yeah, I agree the Spa setup is very "on-edge". I felt cornered in a way making the setup. Going with config 1 rear wing made the car very stable, but lost too much time on the straight. I decided to go with config 0 since it netted the most time, but like we've mentioned, makes the rear very unstable.

@@ntst22 i have completely different setups with 0 rear wing for more straight line speed, but way more stable, less bump and rebounds so i can ride kerbs better, but they dont have that much grip, especially in puon which you managed to take almost flat. Its all about compromise, but your setup was completely undriveable, maybe its the brake pressure which causes me to lock the rears, idk, ill test some more

Yeah the brake pressure I had makes it very easy to lock the rears, but it's to maximize time. I think through turn 3-4 since it's easy to lock up, and I just moderate by just trail braking. Or just by moving brake bias forward.

Unfortunately no :( Though I do have URD Telemetry in the description. I'm not sure whether Motec works with AC1, but I know it works for ACC.
