@@KM-zp9cc I did play the vanilla version before but once you get to the end of it is fun to make a hacked town and do the things you were never able to do before. It's annoying if there is a rock right where you want to put your pathway. Just let people have their fun with the game

Rebecca M. There’s a reason why the developers don’t allow it. Not respecting a game creator’s rules is just not right, I don’t know why that’s so hard to understand. As a former developer myself it’s so annoying that people try to play this game like it’s the sims or a city building game when that was never the true intention.

I used to get down by these things but I started to actually stop caring. I never hack my towns, I accept other people doing it but for myself I can’t picture it. So that’s the first thing why I wouldn’t compare my town to towns like this. Also I don’t play animal crossing for the „finished product“. I play it for the feeling, it’s worth it.

I love this! I used to always love the overgrown forests more, but the urban styles have grown on me so much...when Animal Crossing Switch comes out I'm going to definitely try for an urban vibe in my town :)

I don’t hack when it comes to where villagers move in. I just roll with it and fix or put something there. I don’t hack mainly because I don’t want to and that I want the satisfaction of getting a perfect and pretty town just from my own hard work.
