Here in Pakistan no concept of vacuum, the company technicians don't even know about it. I told them to vacuum the system and he replied its a new unit so you don't have to worry about it. He thought that is for leakage test... Shame for the companies that they just sent local road side technicians wearing their logo T-shirt.

Vacuum is not followed by Pakistan Haier, technians dont even know about it. Haier should do something about it.

@@mrkhan147 The AC will run at less than optimal performance and it's age will be reduced too - by how much depends on how much moisture and air was mixed with the refrigerant. In less humid weather, there is less moisture, but in high humidity, there will be more moisture.

@@taimy111 Maybe he carried out self vacuum by purging, because its running nicely Alhamdulillah. I know this method is not recommended but somehow done the job.

@@mrkhan147 They do air purging, leaking a lit bit of gas to remove air and moisture. This doesn't remove all air or moisture, but it kind of does the job, but ac performance will be affected to some extent. I mean your ac will still perform, but if you were to install the same ac in the same conditions with vacuuming, the performance will be a little better. Anyway I hope your ac runs fine.
