Excellent tips again Andy. I love the psychology of the game and one thing I see from so many right handers when they get a leftie is 'oh no, I'm playing their leftie!' To me they have lost already. Embrace the challenge and don't show any emotion at the start of the game. The tip from you standing at the other side is one I'll take up as I've never done that before. Thanks again, a great lesson.

I played a leftie at Linthwaite C and B last week, remembered this video during the game 13 -2 down. Ran out 21-13, purely from remembering your tip of bowling off a crown (tbf that green has a bit of a hill, so used the same principle). Thanks 👍

Tremendous final at Castle Sports Bank Hol Monday, came down to Wayne Ditchfield and Lee Johnstone in the final, semis and final were awasome. Wayne was 4/5 and Lee 6/4 in the final, Wayne was 2/1 favourite before a bowl was sent and justified being fav by winning 21-17 (I think}

Great advice as usual, here's one for you, we have a guy at our club who is a Leftie, but bowls around the Minimum length, any tips. I bet you have played him if you have played in the Southport area....thanks

Andy In a league match i took an elderly gentleman corner to corner knowing he had no chance of reaching the mark.I had an easy 21-0 but it felt like a hollow victory subjecting the opponent to such an ordeal. What is your view on this..should i have given him a couple of points or played some shorter marks? Thanks for the tutorials as a relatively new player i am learning a lot from them.

If your team are 30 behind, and you are last on, 21-0 is pointless. But what if you gift your opponent a couple of chalks , and they break up ???? I guess there is no right or wrong answer ?? I was taught that , as a rule of thumb, you never nil a learner , or a opponent that cant reach, unless of course, you know that your opponent is guilty of said sins, or capable of coming back at you.
